Contract Project & Operations Lead

Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in the day-to-day operations (including policy change request processing) of the assigned business units in order to gain a thorough understanding of the as-is flow of work, pain points, short and long term goals of the business strategy
  • Analyse business demand for IT system support, automation & digitalization of business processes and mapping customer journeys
  • Derive system requirements from business demands and translate into user story documentation
  • Produce 'As Is' and 'To Be' process models as required
  • Participate in scrum development process as required per project, such as backlog planning or end-of sprint demos
  • Challenge stakeholders where appropriate during the requirements elicitation process
  • Prepare and execute testing on the To-Be model
  • To embed modern testing approaches as a part of a whole-team responsibility for quality
  • To work proactively with the team to instill quality into our deliverables
  • Contribute to improving delivery efficiency through strategic thinking, innovation and methodology improvement


Job Requirements
  • Associate degree or above graduates
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in life insurance industry / Business Analyst
  • Experience in leading and delivering Agile projects in a distributed agile environment preferably within insurance or financial services
  • Comfortable working as a self-starting individual, but have a predominantly collaborative approach to implement and influence positive change in people and processes
  • Support a customer-minded focus to our delivery approach, including understanding and advocating our customers' wants and needs
  • Passionate about quality and testing deliverables with an Agile mindset
  • Possess strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Experience Manually Testing across Web / Application products
  • Proficiency in MS applications (including Chinese word processing)
