We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Credit Analyst / Credit Approver - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Credit Analyst / Credit Maint Analyst - C09 - C11) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you're expected to:

The Credit Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participating in the generation of market commentary and value trade ideas, in coordination with the Trading team. The overall objective of this role is to monitor and evaluate desk risk positions and update the business on market and sector news.

• Support credit underwiring function for credit card & personal loan products according to bank's policy and with adequate control and within the established processing turnaround time as well as meeting productivity benchmark
• Perform credit activities (including credit risk analysis, credit proposal write up and credit processing for new application / cardholder credit transaction / personal loan top-up) for both credit card & personal loan products
• Render support on quality check (eg. day 2 review, quality assurance framework, etc) to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirement, prevailing policy and procedure
• Participate in projects and initiatives. Support projects, development of work flows and procedures to enhance credit underwriting and post-approval process
• Provide training to junior staff / new hire where necessary
• Support various office routine (eg. COB drill test)

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• 2-7 years of experience in related credit business
• Experience in credit operations or similar position is preferable
• Knowledge of the processes, procedures and systems
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
