As a result of ongoing and continued success, this hedge fund house is recruiting a Compliance Manager to join their company. Key responsibilities include: * To ensure continued compliance with applicable regulations on global compliance monitoring & surveillance programs * Monitor and assist with updates in regulatory changes * Submit returns & filings & notifications to Hong Kong SFC & other relevant regulatory bodies


As a result of ongoing and continued successes this hedge fund house is recruiting a Compliance Manager to join their company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to Legal and Compliance departments
  • To ensure continued compliance with applicable regulations on global compliance monitoring & surveillance programs
  • Monitor and assist with updates in regulatory changes
  • Maintaining the firm's, Compliance Manual, and compliance procedures manual.
  • Submit returns & filings & notifications to Hong Kong SFC & other relevant regulatory bodies, including US SEC , EMEA.
  • Assist in training sessions, in addition to collecting and organizing legal research for all jurisdictions
  • Ad-hoc projects when required including paralegal-level tasks for Legal Department

To succeed in this role you must have the ability to lead effectively and posses the following skills & experience:

  • University Degree Qualified in an Accredited University
  • 5-8 years relevant experience within legal and/or compliance experience in a financial institution and/or regulatory agency (e,g., HK SFC)
  • Strongly prefer hedge fund / alternative investment firm experience, with knowledge of security products and
  • Ability to understanding trade execution
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Very detail oriented with high level of accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills;.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast paced environment
  • Willing to work overtime and meet tight deadlines
  • Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg terminal experience preferred.
