about the job.
  • Provide advices to the business and senior management for regulatory matters.
  • Perform KYC and due diligence searches and account opening documentation checks pursuant to relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular surveillance tests over various regulated activities
  • Identify risk issues and propose recommendations/ rectifications to senior management for resolution.
  • Maintain key internal relationships to foster a positive compliance culture through communications, trainings and to provide employees with timely and pragmatic advice on day-to-day issues.
  • Conduct training to enhance staff's risk awareness on internal controls and regulatory changes.

skills & experiences required.
  • 5 years' experience in the legal or compliance function in banking or financial institution
  • Have a good knowledge of HKMA/SFC rules and regulations with prior working experiences in AML, client on-boarding
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Organized and attentive to details
  • Good team player with good communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Able to handle multi-tasks and work to deadlines under pressure
