(1) To assist the KYC/AML team to handle all AML and CTF matters within the group. (2) To fulfill all responsibilities of the risk control requirements as stated in the key responsibilities section.

Key responsibilities:

  • Hands-on review and perform due diligence checking on all new account opening
  • Work with front office to resolve KYC related issues
  • Conduct various on-going monitoring tasks including transaction monitoring, KYC sample check
  • Provide training to all staff on AML/CTF matters
  • Establish and maintain  AML/CTF related policies
  • Maintain screening database
  • Perform investigation on AML/CTF related issues
  • Provide compliance advice on AML/CTF matters
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time
  •  Risk Control Requirement: Attend and take all relevant compliance and risk training; fulfill all compliance responsibilities as required for the job; participate in raising risk awareness in the department; comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines; and contribute to the reporting of all incidents.

Key requirements:

  • Degree in business related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in handling AML process
  • Hands-on experience in conducting KYC review for institutional and retail clients in investment banks, securities firms or private banks
  • Experiences in conducting transactions monitoring and KYC Quality Check
  • Pervious experiences working in client on-boarding will be a plus
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin, English and Cantonese
  • Familiar with KYC due diligence
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
