Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibility 

• Support APAC regional cloud architecture manager, enhance APAC regional cloud architecture, procedure and documentation quality aligned with global standard. 
• Act as technical project manager to coordinate each party, make sure applications can be modernized as IaaS/PaaS or SaaS in 2023-2025 planned roadmap. 
• Setup meetings or workshops for cloud managed service provider, global, regional or market team alignment
• Setup workshops for cloud procedure development and cloud skills enablement.
• Setup and manage website like SharePoint to streamline users cloud onboarding journey and find documents and guideline easily.  Review cloud change management request of accountable cloud IaaS and PaaS implementations.
• Draft and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for regional team, markets and managed service provider to follow.
• Preform Identity Access Management and regular Role Based Access Control (RBAC) review
• Work closely with Information Security team to ensure security by design, provide essential support to project team and guide cloud managed service provider to fix cloud security risks in a timely manner, if applicable.
• Work closely with internal or external team in Infra-as-code, DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Development related initiatives.
• Act as key contributor in cloud architecture, cloud build or cloud operations initiatives.
• Support other cloud initiatives when necessary

Preferred: 

• Certificates of System Administration/DevOps/Solution Architect on cloud environments (Azure, AliCloud) or Kubernetes are a plus
• Solid understanding of centralized configuration management and provisioning technologies, such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc
• Familiar with database technologies: Mongo DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis
• Solid knowledge in identity management and protocols - IAM, OAuth, OpenID, AD DS, LDAP, ADFS and SAML
•  Knowledge in OS administration, such as Linux and Windows
• Knowledge with application and service monitoring tools and techniques
