Chief Human Resources Officer
Eclipse Trading is one of Asia's leading proprietary derivatives trading firms. Founded in 2007, we have over 100 employees across three office locations – Hong Kong (our HQ), Sydney, and Shanghai. Our trading expertise and strategies are deployed across several Asian markets and although we mainly specialise in equity derivatives, we also trade delta one, ETFs, commodity derivatives, and crypto currency products. The Human Resources Team are responsible for maintaining the Company's core values and culture, as well as the attraction of high-quality candidates. They are responsible for Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development, and Employee Relations. Within each of these core functions, HR conducts a wide variety of activities, ensuring mutual benefit for both the Employee and Eclipse Trading.
We are looking for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join the management team to provide high-level advice and support on all matters relating to HR and Recruitment. The job location would be ideally Hong Kong, but may also be Sydney for a shortlisted high-calibre candidate.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and direct the Human Resources (HR) and Recruitment functions to achieve the strategic priorities set by management
- Develop and review all HR policies and procedures across Hong Kong, Australia, United Kingdom, China, and the US
- Build a metrics-driven organization that leverages reporting, dashboards, and SLA tracking to provide actionable insight on service delivery, operations accuracy, and effectiveness
- Lead processes to enable an effective employee experience; creating an efficient end to end HR operation with a focus on quality and automation (i.e. self-service)
- Lead and oversee the recruitment team to implement best practices and processes to attract the best talent globally
What you offer
- Previous experience leading a Human Resources or People Operations function, preferably in a technology or financial technology industry
- 15+ years of experience in organizational development, learning, talent and leadership practices
- Ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization
- Knowledge of and familiarity with multi-jurisdictional employment laws and regulations highly desired
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business or a related field
