CPS AD Server Administrator – Digital Workplace Services

Primary Objectives:

  • Manage/Support projects and new initiatives for Active Directory, desktop, virtualization and ecosystem services in Asiapac.
  • Operational tasks such as upgrades and maintenance for Active Directory, desktop, virtualization and ecosystem services in Asiapac
  • Operational Support of Active Directory, Data Management, desktop, virtualization and ecosystem services including but not limited to SCCM, Symantec SEPM, Desktop Master, Antivirus in Asiapac

Basic Responsibilities

1. 3rd Level support for desktop, virtualization and ecosystem services in Asiapac
  • Enterprise Active Directory
  • SCCM
  • Symantec SEPM
  • Data Management
  • Windows Desktop Master / Corporate Desktop
  • Print Servers
  • DFS
  • SG Developed User Administration Tools
2. Manage Projects to implement new services, enhance and refresh technologies related to desktop, virtualization and ecosystem services in Asiapac
3. Monitor all technical platforms, for quality and continual service provisioning, including tracking and alerting (queues, backups, errors, event logs)
4. Software packaging and delivery in enterprise environment following the regional and global standard
5. Coordinate with support teams to upgrade and patch all desktop, virtualization and ecosystem systems
6. Create and maintain technical documentations as well as provide regular training to desktop support teams
7. Collaborate locally, regionally & globally to ensure desktop, virtualization and ecosystem services and processes are consistent in SG globally


Key Skill Areas & knowledge Required:

Several years of experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support on below main technologies and expertise on below:
  • Active Directory, should have knowledge of multiple domains and multiple forests Architecture.
  • Windows operating systems and related technologies (DNS, NTP, DHCP, file system...)
  • Strong authentication.
  • PKI Management.
  • ADFS / Azure / Office365.
  • Data Management (CIFS, ACL NTFS, DFS)
  • Automation skills/ Scripting skills, particularly in Power Shell.
  • Basic understanding of Project Management.
  • Must be able to demonstrate deep technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • ITIL
  • Strong autonomy
  • Strong English speaking skills
  • Strong document writing capability
  • Able to work independently, to organize and manage own tasks
  • Team player, positive attitude, good communicator, able to work in a multicultural environment

Optional but preferred experience:
  • Strong expertise of Windows 7 & 10 desktop OS deployment
  • Strong expertise in SCCM server/client and administration
  • Knowledge with Symantec SEPM
  • Knowledge of Master Desktop Master
  • Knowledge of Print Services


  • Bachelors in Engineering or technical degree
  • ITIL Foundations
  • 5 working experience in desktop or server engineering roles
