Role
- Lead CNH bond market-making activities, managing trading positions and risk exposures to ensure effective liquidity provision and stable performance.
- Monitor market, macroeconomic, policy, and credit developments impacting offshore RMB fixed income markets.
- Enhance pricing frameworks, trading strategies, and market-making capabilities to improve profitability and execution quality.
- Manage fixed income portfolios with strong focus on risk management, liquidity management, and capital efficiency.
- Drive the development of trading infrastructure, including system enhancements, testing, and implementation initiatives.
- Build relationships with regulators, institutional investors, and key market participants.
- Provide market insights to support business growth, product development, and strategic decision-making.
- Partner closely with sales, research, risk, operations, and technology teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Extensive experience in fixed income trading, market-making, or rates trading within banks, securities firms, or financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of China's bond market, offshore RMB products, and cross-border fixed income trading.
- Proven track record managing sizeable trading books and delivering consistent risk-adjusted returns.
- Deep understanding of pricing, liquidity management, portfolio management, and risk frameworks.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
- Experience supporting trading technology or market-making platform enhancements is preferred.
