Our client, a technology venture capital company listed in Australia is looking for a CFO. The role is base out of Hong Kong and reporting to the Chairman and CEO of the company, successful candidate will play a key role within the organization in development long term investment / business strategies for the company.


Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Lead the team of 7 in finance department for full spectrum of finance and accounting duties of the company
  2. Prepare financial review an analysis, corporate budget and forecast, cash flow management, tax reporting and operation review
  3. Establish and refine any financial policies and compliance framework to improve management efficiency and effectiveness
  4. Review and in charge of financial and management reporting to comply with Australian listing rules and regulations
  5. Maintain a good image and be the forefront spoke person of the company
  6. Establish a good relationship with internal staff, investors, bankers, auditors and be involved in other ad hoc projects as required
  7. Work with the executive management team to formulate company’s financial planning and various investment strategies and expansion plans
  8. promote effective corporate governance to optimize business and financial processes



  • Successful candidate must be native in English and have a minimum of  7 years  working experience in an International Finance and Accounting Firm, Investment banks or private investment houses
  • Previous experience in a CFO or Company Secretary position with a company listed in Australia will be useful
  • Knowledge in corporate finance & fund raising is a plus
  • Pleasant presentation skills with fluency in written and spoken English  is a MUST
  • Strong knowledge in listing rules and regulations and familiar with local accounting and taxation requirements in Hong Kong and Australia
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills  and able to maintain effective internal communication and external interfaces with bankers, auditors and stakeholders
  • Support the management on finance related activities for new business development 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Common sense and good work ethic is required
