Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong network of referral sources for new-to-bank Premier Banking customers (both offshore and onshore) via external partnership
  • Collaborate closely with key internal business partners (Corporate Banking/Commercial Banking/SME Banking) to solicit qualified referrals
  • Meet the acquisition target (Number of Premier Banking customers and AUM) by referring business to branches and Offshore Banking Team for cross-selling opportunities
  • Assist to work on special projects and collaborate with various departments to develop and deploy workable solutions to fulfill the business need under considerable deadline pressure

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree holder of any discipline
  • 5+ years of working experience in dealing with corporate customers in sales acquisition
  • Strategic mind-set with strong sales drive
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of people, often in complex and difficult situations
  • Mature and independent, self-motivated and a strong team player
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese, proficient Mandarin will be a plus
