Job Summary:

As part of our global “Digital First” strategy, a series of global initiatives has been approved which aims to deliver a world-class client servicing and product reporting platform across all regions.  As the Business Project Manager, you will lead the implementation of related digital transformation projects in Asia and partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors throughout the entire project lifecycle, from business case development and requirements gathering, to solutions design and rollout.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with business sponsors and users to understand and translate business / client expectations into actionable requirements
  • Build a strong relationship with business stakeholders across all levels in the organisation
  • Defend local business priorities and act as APAC champion in a global forum
  • Contribute ideas to develop best practice and drive local adoption
  • Analyse existing reporting platforms, workflows, data sources and deviations across countries, and identify improvement areas / functional gaps against our desired servicing model
  • Design practical solutions that address business requirements and functional gaps
  • Work closely with technology teams and external vendors on technical design and implementation
  • Manage acceptance tests and rollout with business and operational users
  • Design new operational processes and associated up- / down-stream changes
  • Manage senior stakeholders’ expectation and communications
  • Support the regional head on other group-wide projects

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following requisites:

  • Degree graduate with at least 5 years project management experience in financial services
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Credentials in delivering successful digital initiatives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English, Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • To engage professionally and influence tactfully at all levels within the organisation
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and offshore / matrix teams
  • Prior knowledge in asset management preferred
