Business Analyst (General Insurance)
  • Engage with stakeholders and groom user stories
  • Assist Technical Product Owner with low-level requirements gathering and documentation
  • Work with local IT teams to understand existing systems and work with these teams on ensuring the systems offer services and stored procedures
  • Work with business partners to understand proposed requirements
  • Work with an assigned Scrum Team to provide delivery of working software that provides value to the business every 2 weeks
  • Dive deep into solutions and requirements proposed by the business and provide alternative solutions for the business to consider
  • Work with the development team Scrum Master to identify and remove impediments that come up during the sprint process
  • Help in conducting UAT and give demo to business users
  • Find way to optimize way of working by offering and implementing solutions for continuous improvement
  • Degree holder (preferably in Information Technology or related discipline)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong knowledge of General Insurance domain
  • Strong requirement analysis skills
  • Proficient in requirement documentation skills in dynamic environment
  • Experience in handling stakeholders and conflict resolution
  • Project management experience in handling agile processes and scrum ceremonies
  • Able to conduct testing and UAT
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese
