About Our Client
Responsible for M&A transactions in Asia Pacific region, coordinating with the Team Head to originate and execute Corporate Finance business and support overall activities in the Asia Pacific region, including Mainland China

Job Description
1. Coordinate and support the origination and execution of M&A transactions, interfacing with clients in the Asia Pacific region and with Santander sector and local M&A teams in the bank's core geographies

2. Assist in the origination and marketing of Corporate Finance engagements with Asia Pacific region clients by preparing pitch books and market updates, actively participating in meetings with potential clients and requests for proposal (RFPs) and Financial Adviser's selection processes

3. Performing financial valuations, including discounted cash flow and multiples-based analyses, preparing detailed financial models and valuation reports to assist and advise our clients to analyse and support the price to offer or accept for acquisitions or disposals and assist clients with the preparation of materials to assist with their internal approvals processes and investment committees

4. Managing sell side and buy side M&A processes, including coordinating sell side activities with potential bidders, including the identification of potential bidders, preparation and circulation of teasers, NDAs, Information Memorandums, process letters and other marketing documents required in the first stages of an M&A transaction

5. Lead due diligence activities, including coordination of Q&A processes, review of business plans and financial models of potential targets coordination of management presentations, expert sessions and site visits and preparation and review of transaction documentation and timetables

6. Overall project management, including coordinating the roles of internal and external team members and professional advisers, coordinating and reviewing the work of our clients? other external advisors and engaging and representing the client in discussions with the other parties' advisors

The Successful Applicant
1. Top university graduate, with strong academic record, preferably with economics / business degree and MBA

2. Minimum 4-5 years M&A & transaction advisory experience preferably in leading international investment banks

3. Proven qualitative and quantitative financial modelling, corporate finance valuation and analytical skills and relevant expertise. Familiarity with corporate finance data bases, analysis tools and software applications

4. Strong intrapersonal client and networking skills, with an established track record of advising and prior close interaction with Asia Pacific Region and Mainland China clients (including SOEs and POEs), where relevant

5. Strong communication and presentation capabilities

6. High fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
