-Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory reports and regulatory returns;
-Responsible for the data integrity and controls over accounting systems as the associated enhancement;
-Deliver accurate and meaningful financial information to management / users in time;
-Oversee SOX compliance over financial closing;
-Oversee the compliance and updating of company policies and procedures;
-Responsible for on-going process revamp to improve efficiency and productivity; and
-Lead projects as assigned Result Areas:
-Deliver statutory filings in good quality in time;
-Complete the accounting system development / enhancement project in time and the deliverables are in good quality;
-Provide creative and feasible solutions for process revamp;
-Internal controls are effective and SOX annual reviews are satisfactory;
-Provide on the job training to sub-ordinates for their career development; and
-Deliver accurate financial information in a fast paced environment. Qualifications & Experience:
-Qualified accountant with 8+ relevant experience in financial reporting and specialized in insurance industry regulatory reporting;
-Good analytical skills, able to work under pressure and multi-tasking;
-Ambitious for career development with high commitment;
-With supervisory experience 5+ years;
-Good communication in both written and spoken English; and
