Job Description

We are seeking a high calibre professional to join us as an Associate Director, International Corporates, Coverage Team, Global Banking, to:

- directly and proactively support relationship managers on all account management activities

- be accountable for client execution of existing business

- assist relationship managers to manage client portfolios consisting primarily of Chinese corporates

- assist relationship managers achieve budgeted revenue and campaign targets

- help drive sales process and enhance utilization by proactively identifying business opportunities and pursuing deals

- provide high quality customer service on enquiries and transactions handling and to enhance customer satisfaction

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- accountable for proactive client account management to ensure the highest level of client service and risk mitigation/management, onboarding, credit monitoring, flow maintenance

- collaborate with clients, RMs, functional and product partners to drive client execution

- provide strong support on client documentation processes and reporting including engagement and coordination with CDU for standard documentation purposes

- support loan drawdown, cash management, trade, offerings & audit confirmation

- ensure proactive credit monitoring and follow up on key flow maintenance activities

- follow-up with clients to correct security shortfalls & rectification of deficiencies / security completion as part of the ASTAR process

- excess & past due monitoring, unsettled FX past due trades report & failed trade reporting

- ensure adherence to bank policy on all credit, operational, legal and compliance activities

- maintain portfolio quality through regular reviews of client portfolio data

- manage client account maintenance queries and remediation efforts as primary contact point

- collaboration with COBAM, credit analyst, credit, product etc to manage the account effectively

- management of all account management escalations

Qualifications and Skills

- solid banking background with strong client account management / service experience

- ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to manage all aspects of account management

- strong knowledge of IC client business, CIB products and bank policies

- comprehensive understanding of our network to facilitate network delivery

- client focused mindset and passionate about client delivery

- exceptional collaboration skills

- strong ability to problem solve

- sound analytic and process management skills
