Associate Director - Digital Payment

This role will be the key person in the team to implement the payment related projects with internal and external parties, internal will be all the feature and enhancement in the bank for online and mobile banking, digitize the existing features including but not limited to bill payment, top up, e-wallet. External will be all the partnership and projects implementation with companies like SVF, payment gateway, finance industry related projects and enhancement e.g. FPS

Key Roles and Responsibilities

* Engage closely with the engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to define a roadmap that meets business and consumer needs, while meeting critical deadlines and budget constraints
* Engage closely with and oversee testing and production validation efforts by IT team
* Track and monitor industry developments and how it impacts the bank products, new technologies that can be leveraged
* Formulate a strategy and roadmap on digital payment, including but not limited to P2P, P2M, mobile wallets and any payment related products & features
* Manage product backlog, production support, issue & defect resolution and prioritization
* Work with 3rd party vendors/ partners to enhance product offering, partnership and enhancement
* Monitor against agreed goals and benchmarks, identifying, scoping and finding implementation paths for needed enhancements, and creating remediation plans when needed
* Stay on top of industry trends and best practices and be involved in the local digital community, ensuing the Bank is positioned to establish and maintain the competitive edge
* Manage relationship with payment providers, payment aggregators and SVF companies including negotiation of commercial terms and contracts, ongoing relationship management and liaise with different project teams to implement the entire payment project

Qualifications and Skills

* Bachelor / Master degree in Computer Science, Finance or technology equivalent academic
* 7+ years of related work experience in the digital field of sizable retail financial organizations e.g. bank, payment gateway, SVF
* Structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written communication skills who is able to flex between strategic and tactical items for varying audiences
* Experience with designing and delivering highly technical and complex large-scale products
* Able to work in complex organization structure, and coordinate various business stakeholders to achieve a common business goal
* Able to build business relationships and work effectively with internal & external stakeholder
* Good communication skills to enable meaningful dialogue with technology & business stakeholders
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills in interpreting data and translating into insights
* Able to make sound judgment and manage multiple business priorities
