Associate (Client on-boarding/ AML projects) 6-month contract
Job Responsibilities
  • Implementing client onboarding due diligence process in accordance with FINI User Onboarding Guideline and HKEX internal procedures. This includes reviewing of application and supporting documents, screening of applicant based on KYC / AML requirement, communicating with applicant via email or hotline, and other due diligence procedures
  • Assisting in creating user account within the timeframe specified in SLA. This includes reconciliation of user account and access rights versus user application and handling queries concerning user log-in, etc
  • Handling of user queries throughout the lifecycle of IPO deals, specifically concerning user access, account management, ad-hoc onboarding request, deal specific queries (following the guidance of Wall-Crossing Procedure)
  • Providing education to various type of users on platform functions, workflow and controls
  • Liaising with Listing, Operations, Legal, IT and other relevant teams, when necessary, to resolve user queries
  • Tracking, analyzing and management reporting of client service related platform matrix and data such as user onboarding progress, query volume and user pain points; providing insight on process improvement and platform enhancement based on user feedback
  • Identifying and escalating time-critical queries, user complaints/dissatisfaction

Job Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of experience for university degree holder. Previous client onboarding and/or client service experience gained in an international financial institution (investment banking), securities/trading house or Asset Manager
  • Knowledge on general IPO lifecycle and Hong Kong settlement and clearing is ideal
  • Knowledge on AML (World-Check) / KYC / Regulatory regimes in APAC is ideal
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (the incumbent will be speaking to Mandarin speaking sponsors and legal advisers)
  • A self-starter and fast learner, with good attention to detail
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Conversant PC skills, MS Office
