The role is an Associate role, working in a team of 5 people. It is a challenging and exciting position as it provides an opportunity to expose to a trading platform from scratch, and to join a team of smart and energetic talented individuals to complete high profile projects. This position may also provide an opportunity to build a new set of algos for Delta One.
Enriching Horizon platform for the Equity Derivatives and Delta One business in APAC
Maintaining and developing custom processes that interacts with various upstream and downstream systems in Nomura.
Building custom algos in Horizon for HK Delta One Business
Key Experience & Skills
Mandatory technologies: core JAVA, Sybase, SQL
Strong JAVA programming skill
Financial product knowledge (great plus)
Experience with proprietary algo development (great plus)
Experience with Scala programming skill (great plus)
Experience with Horizon (plus)
Experience with ORC (plus)
Lock free programming
Event driven programming
Messaging (preferably TIBCO, Socket, Solace)
Business knowledge on derivatives, delta one and fixed income
