  • Equip with strong project management and multitasking skills to drive and promote the use of analytics for business impacts
  • Leverage predictive/propensity modeling and quantitative analytic to drive the customer selection and target setting in various marketing and online campaigns to optimize the response rate
  • Track the results of each campaign in a systematic manner; identify key learnings and opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct statistical modeling, cross BU and cross-product analytics, to identify potential performance gaps and drive business growth
  • Build sales analytics / event-triggered alerts scale up new customer acquisition, just-on-time cross-sell, up-sell and pre-emptive retention, riding on advanced analytics and text mining intelligence
  • Build analytic tools with an integrated MIS database to facilitate portfolio management and data visualization
  • Analyze customer behavior across all touchpoints, incl online channels, to optimize the sales approach and enhance service and customer experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Economic, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines
  • At least 8-year relevant experience in banking industry, preferably in Institutional Banking Group with good understanding of corporate products and services
  • Strong business acumen, with ability to analyze tremendous data and come up with meaningful insights in plain languages.
  • Strong experience and know-how in advanced data analysis and statistical techniques including C5.0, k-means, Apriori, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, correlation analysis, binning, outlier replacement, etc., exposure to time-series mining techniques a definite advantage.
  • Solid programming experience in SAS Base and EG or other data mining programming languages, knowledge of SAS EM preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to come up with effective business strategies and drive business growth based on quantitative analysis
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work with teams of technical people and business users, handling multiple projects, attention to details and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
  • Exposure to time-series mining techniques and SAS EM a definite advantage
