MUFG Bank Ltd is looking for an Assistant Vice President for our Compliance Office for Asia as a member of the Testing, Surveillance & Control Team

Key Responsibilities: 

To design and enhance the compliance review framework related to Overseas & Local Regulatory Requirements

To conduct checking and prepare reports according to regional Asia-China Compliance Programme and selected treasury related areas

To develop new checking points with reference to compliance related issues identified by regulators, external & internal auditors and Compliance Office for Asia

To provide recommendations on compliance issues identified and follow up with respective departments accordingly

To carry out checking on Compliance functions, including compilation of self-assessment report, sample checking of audio records and supporting evidence for investment product selling purpose

To consult relevant subject-matter experts (SMEs) for issues related to financial crimes, sanctions and AML compliance and share with Advisory Team on key compliance risks

To work closely with Singapore regional office to build up regional ACCP testing scripts and support the regional compliance review programmes

Job Requirements:

University graduate

Holder of CPA with experience audit firm and/or compliance monitoring

At least 2 year working experience in banking industry, preferably with internal audit and/or compliance background within the industry

Proficient in written and spoken English. Chinese proficiency is preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good command in Microsoft office, particularly in Microsoft Excel

Well organised and able to work under pressure

Self-motivated and able to work independently.
