The Job

1. Tax Compliance and Reporting

• Manage profits tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax computations, tax returns and supporting schedules for multiple jurisdictions (e.g., Hong Kong, Macau, Bermuda).
• Review tax provisions and deferred tax calculations under IFRS.
• Support financial statement disclosures relating to taxation.

2. Insurance Tax Advisory

• Support and provide tax advice business initiatives, corporate restructuring, investments and cross-border transactions.
• Evaluate tax implications of new regulatory and accounting developments.
• Review agreements and business proposals from a tax perspective.

3. International Tax and Transfer Pricing

• Support transfer pricing compliance and documentation requirements.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of BEPS, Pillar Two and other international tax developments.
• Coordinate with group tax teams on cross-border tax matters.
• Support tax residency, treaty and withholding tax matters.

The Person

• CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 4-8 years of tax experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong, Macau and Bermuda corporate tax, Global Minimum Tax, and insurance-specific tax regimes.
• Familiarity with IFRS17 and RBC regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• More experience may be considered as Manager
