We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Product Governance.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​ Support Team Head or other team members in driving proper governance committees, processes, and product management related projects, and incidents or complaints.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of our Insurance Document Centre and act as the custodian of the product documents to ensure all product collaterals fully comply with Legal FIM or regulatory obligations
  • Support portfolio incidents and delivery of any remediation plan and build controls, as necessary, to avoid recurrence
  • Support the closure of assigned audit management actions and internal control testing and reporting in order to manage the associated risks to our in force book
  • Support the delivery of various reports or updates to various business committees, including Insurance Hong Kong Executive Committee, Wealth Management Oversight Committee and Group Insurance
  • Work closely with all key stakeholders from Group and Local Office to maintain the highest standard of governance process to improve efficiency and proactively challenge status quo to meet evolving business needs



  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business studies with a background in marketing, finance or insurance is preferred
  • Relevant experience in a marketing role, ideally has worked for a banking or financial institution with past track record in the development of product related form artifacts and collaterals to different customer segments via multiple distribution channels
  • Product knowledge in insurance or wealth management products, is an advantage
  • Proven experience of supporting to a diversified team with multiple objectives
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Highly effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to influence and engage in a positive and inspiring manner
  • Strong communication and writing skills in both Chinese and English, is a must
