Assistant Manager, Key Account Management

This role will be a member of one of KPMG's priority accounts. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting general business development and demand creation activity at the target client. Demand creation refers to the application of thematic that may have an impact on the client's customer environment, understanding the challenges arising and developing a campaign around how we can support.

The candidate will need to be able to work under guidance from senior leadership, demonstrate curiosity, critical thinking, have strong desire to continuously learn, and work collaboratively with a wide varied number of team members globally to develop appropriate solutions.

  • Collaborate with designated clients and Subject Matter Expects to support the team with internal and external research, preparation of market insights and thought leadership
  • Support coverage team in maintaining and tracking account plans
  • Identify firm collateral/SMEs from across the firm who can deliver solution-based outcomes for the client's customers
  • Maintain account collateral, reference material through centralized platform.
  • Continue to leverage and build on the firm's business development capabilities
  • Build, expand and maintain network and rapport with client group, as well as within KPMG
  • Organize events for client contacts where ROI or mutual benefit is likely

  • Bachelor Degree holder in Marketing, Public Relations or Business related discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in Business Development, Customer Relationship Management or Account Management experiences, preferably in a financial services environment
  • Superior organizational skills, detail-conscious, pro-active, hard-working, and resilient
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills with flexibility to adapt to different working styles of senior stakeholders
  • Dynamic, self-motivated and able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Account Executive
