Assistant Manager, Agency Operations (Agency Technology)

This role focuses on proposing and executing system solutions, system revamp projects to replace existing legacy systems by providing brand new user experience, simplifying system flow and supporting mobile devices.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead team to execute system revamp projects by phases including sales system as defined by management
  • Propose system solution to streamline operations and selling process and design system workflow to replace manual process
  • Prepare and review user requirements for system development based on operations in agency and internal staff
  • Plan and conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT) Plan for various system enhancements
  • Manage issues during UAT to ensure project timelines are met with high accuracy
  • Arrange training and communication with users to ensure system replacement completed smoothly
  • Organize focus group to gather ideas for system revamp project and provide system revamp roadmap and status to sales channel


Job Requirements:
  • University graduate, preferably in business discipline
  • 6 years or above relevant experience in financial sector, preferably in life insurance
  • Solid experience in business analysis with good understanding of SDLC
  • Ability to respond quickly to shifting demands and to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS excel; knowledge of database system preferable
  • Self-initiated, independent and good communication skills
  • Fluent Cantonese. Good command of spoken and written English
