We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Actuarial.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide support on the actuarial items, that is reserves or PVIF, and Management information under various reporting basis, that is both statutory and IFRS, for various stakeholders, including Risk, Local Business
  • Prepare the regulatory filings to authorities and industry bodies, including forms and dynamic solvency test
  • Support the earning forecast and analysis
  • Perform Experience Studies and Assumption Review
  • Conduct Stress testing for reporting or management information
  • Propose and review the new methodology, assumption and model development in accordance with Group standards
  • Ensure that the financial reporting work is compliance with the External and Internal Audit
  • To work closely with Chief Actuary Office, Risk and Finance
  • Provide technical and other support or coaching to junior staff and act as a role model for professional and personal development.
  • Compliance to internal and external requirement as related to Actuarial Risk Analytics


Qualifications
Requirements

  • ​Some years of relevant actuarial work experience.
  • University graduate in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Business Finance or related discipline.
  • Good progress with actuarial examinations, and experience in corporate actuarial may be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
