Aster Recruiting is working with a well-established asset manager to build out its product development bench. This is a rare chance to take real ownership of the ETF agenda end-to-end, rather than sitting in a support seat on someone else's roadmap.

What you'll do:

1. Own the ETF product lifecycle from first principles: shaping new fund concepts and strategy, steering them through internal governance and regulatory sign-off, and carrying them through to listing and beyond
2. Act as the connective tissue between investment, risk, compliance, distribution and finance teams so launches stay on schedule and issues get resolved fast
3. Track how the existing fund range is performing competitively and propose enhancements, such as new share classes or structural changes, to keep it sharp against the market
4. Continuously reassess how products get built and run operationally, and push through process improvements before they become bottlenecks
5. Stay ahead of regulatory and market developments that could affect the product range, and flag implications to the right stakeholders early

What you'll bring:

1. 3-7 years in asset management, including hands-on, full-cycle ETF product development experience, from concept through launch and ongoing management (essential, not a nice-to-have)
2. Broad grounding across public markets products, equities, fixed income, multi-asset and alternatives, alongside the ETF specialism
3. Strong stakeholder management skills across investment, risk, compliance and commercial functions
4. Solid project management ability, comfortable juggling multiple product initiatives at once
5. A self-starter with a track record of driving initiatives to completion
6. Fluent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
7. Bonus points for prior exposure to cross-border or multi-jurisdictional fund listings
