Assistant Fund Administration Manager - HSBC Securities Services

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Fund Administration Manager.

Principal responsibilities
  • Perform daily and monthly checking on client portfolios to ensure internal controls, company policies and procedures are in place
  • Ensure activities of funds are in compliance with all applicable ordinances and regulations
  • Provide support to subordinates to ensure client enquiries and issues are resolved in a timely and accurate manner
  • Evaluate current workflows and assist in the implementation of improvement initiatives for the development and retention of clients
  • Provide training to subordinates on portfolio accounting, valuation process, reporting and any other fund specific procedures
  • Review and update audit procedures on a regular basis


Qualifications
Requirements
  • ​University graduate with a degree in accounting or related discipline
  • Relevant experience in fund services, fund audit or financial industry, ideally with traditional fund experience
  • Good understanding of the administration of unit trust, mutual fund, accounting, valuation, custody and banking services
  • Excellent written and spoken English with strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong client facing and negotiation skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
