Our client is one of the strongest international financial services providers that offers insurance products. They are now looking for an (Assistant) Finance Manager to lead their finance team and to help maintain their financial planning & controlling function. The ideal candidate will be from an insurance/asset management background with supervisory experience.
Responsibilities - Manage regular and effective budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform financial analysis, identify key drivers, risks, opportunities and present recommendations
- Monitor financial performance of the business and work closely with stakeholders on strategic planning
- Prepare regular financial reports and ensure compliance
- Oversee accounting, audit and tax operations and optimise workflow
- Assist in the implementation of SAP
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant disciplines
- CPA holder with 5+ years of professional experience in insurance/asset management, preferably from a big 4 audit background
- Well versed in IFRS accounting standards and tax requirements
- Familiar with SAP, system implementation experience is a definite advantage
- Excellent command of English and Chinese
- Analytical and number savvy with a can-do attitude
