A leading investment company is looking to hire a Front Office Application Support

POSITION PURPOSE

  • Responsible for providing business systems support and development services

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake daily operational checks, investigate and resolve any problems identified.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level business support to systems run in local and overseas office during Asia hours
  • Resolution of day to day issues and ad hoc enquires
  • Answer, evaluate and prioritise incoming help desk telephone, e-mail and in-person requests for assistance on business systems and where required, implement relevant steps to prevent re-occurrence Provide administration, support and development of all business systems that reside in local and/or overseas offices including BCP arrangements.
  • Analyse business processes and functions.  Work with business and the Systems Support team to develop, enhance and re-engineer operations process into program with systematic controls.   
  • Provide training to customers when processes change or new functionality becomes available Liaise with third party vendors for consultation and assistance in the resolution of issues and queries.
  • Research and evaluate business systems developments and make recommendations to management.
  • Ensure documentation of all business systems is completed and kept up to date.
  • Maintain business systems operations standards and guidelines.
  • Provide desktop support to end users in Hong Kong and Singapore offices
  • Provide back up on daily network administrative and general infrastructure support

  • Able to work on shift and on-call out of working hours
  • Flexible approach to working hours to accomplish urgent and ad hoc tasks.
  • Strong technical background
  • Language speaking : English and Canonise, preferably Mandarin
