We are looking for a Java developer having knowledge and experience with Equities markets. They will be working within the development team in Hong Kong

 
Job description   
 

Responsibilities
•Work closely with a global development team and Front Office users in enhancing and maintaining the algorithmic trading system
•Provide and support bespoke solutions for key algorithmic trading clients through custom algos and trade automation
•Provide second line support to global users
•Interface with our applied quant research group where necessary to deliver unique insight and signals into the trading platform

 
Key Experience & Skills   
 

Requirements
•2 year+ working experience in software development as a developer in Java
•Proficiency in Java on Linux platform is a must
•Object Oriented programming skills
•Excellent communication skills – oral and written
•Ambitious, self-motivated, resourceful technology enthusiast
•Lifelong learner who loves sharing his knowledge

 Preferred:
•Experience in Financial industry is a plus
•Experience in DevOps is a plus
•Knowledge of FIX protocol for equities markets is a plus
•Knowledge of scripting language such as Perl/Python/Bash or another is a plus
•Knowledge of market data is a plus
