The Aladdin Wealth Tech (AWT)
business maximizes the same analytics framework used by Institutional investors to equip wealth management clients with business & risk management, and portfolio construction & analytics capabilities. Aladdin Wealth Enterprise
(AWE) team within the AWT business is partnering with wealth managers to enhance their value proposition to their end clients, create rigor and scale in their investment, distribution, wealth advisory process and grow their businesses in a differentiated way. Who are our clients?
Senior Executives, Business Heads, Relationship Managers, Investment Counselors, Project Managers, Private Bankers, Retail Financial Advisors and Product Specialists at all levels of Wealth Management and Securities Firm organizations. Serve as a trusted senior advisor and consultant to our clients, aiming to identify, understand, and tackle business problems to drive wealth business transformation. Key Responsibilities include:
Client opportunity: Develop deep relationships with senior clients (engage at C-Suite level and decision makers) and drive top-down & bottoms-up client Engagement, Adoption of our tools/analytics across various level of users and help client organizations Commercialize the advisory practice ("EAC")
Commercial opportunity: Generate meaningful new revenue through Aladdin Wealth. Lead and navigate both prospective and existing client engagements with decision makers and operate as the senior face for our Hong Kong and Greater China business. Conduct and drive efforts in response to market events and industry trends, and influence data analytics projects to enable portfolio construction capabilities at wealth management firms
Dedication to build: Operate as a senior platform leader within the 1Aladdin organization to develop the Wealth business in a focused manner.
Product influence: Provide commercial and strategic inputs to the wealth technology product and engineering leaders based on client feedback. Work closely with AWT leaders to ensure alignment between commercial vision, and overall platform technology strategy of Aladdin Wealth for Hong Kong and Greater China.
Cross functional engagement: Lead client engagement and sales team focused on driving EAC and new business development across Japan market to gain commercial opportunities working closely with regional and global AWT leadership and subject-matter specialists..
Outstanding track-record as a platform and general management leader with measurable impacts and tangible achievements in wealth management and/or wealth/investment management technology industries.
Deep knowledge in wealth and retail securities distribution business and ability to articulate details in developing and growing a business within the industry.
12+ years of experience in the Asian wealth management financial industry.
Able to navigate and influence in large client organizations by establishing relationship with all levels of stakeholders. Understand competing priorities and difference in views to help clients define and align their target business & operating model.
A goal-oriented and creative leader with strong credibility in the market. Have patience and is persistent in helping clients drive behavioral change of their advisors, maximizing returns from the power of Aladdin technology.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead robust teams, operating across a large organization
Validated experience within retail sales and financial advisory practice with proven track record of in delivering commercial outcomes for both individual investors and wealth/securities firm.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence throughout the organization, validated through good social skills.
Native Cantonese/Mandarin speaker, with fluency in English.
