Advisory - Customer and Operations Excellence, Financial Services (Insurance) - Senior Associate / Manager

Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and manage large scale cross functional projects and operational transformations within the Insurance institutions
- Analyze and provide recommendation to client personnel on strategic initiatives
- Lead and support your team on projects focusing on Insurance Target Operating Models and Business Process Re-Engineering initiatives across the entire Insurance value chain
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex data, market size and competition
- Coordinate with different internal and external teams for service offerings
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in customer needs assessments, lean process mapping, problem-solving and other methodologies to drive client outcomes
Skills and attributes for success - Ability to positively engage across service lines and connect with multiple stakeholders, leveraging the global EY network
- Previous client facing experience at a top-tier financial institution highly desirable
Requirements: To qualify for the role you must have
- 5+ years of industry experience with deep insurance knowledge and the ability to take a pan-organizational and strategic view a plus
- Lean process improvement experience or management in a service environment
- Passion for identifying process and efficiency improvements
- Lean Six Sigma green belt or equivalent demonstrable experience preferable
- Ability to lead others through change and adjusting priorities
- Experience with formal project and change management methodologies and ability to facilitate project management to internal and external teams
- Experience in business development activities, ideally for a Global Priority account, and demonstrable skills as well as relationships in the area
- Strong understanding of pursuit and proposal processes, with full lifecycle hands-on experience of running complex and strategic pursuits involving multiple service lines and jurisdictions
Ideally, you’ll also have - A can-do spirit with intellectual curiosity and passionate to make a genuine difference while embedding meaningful, measurable change for clients
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, appropriate for senior executive level clients
- Proven program and project management experience with ability to lead and mobilize cross-functional teams. Preference towards candidates with a track record in the provision of high-impact and -complexity programs
- Good written and verbal communication in both English and Cantonese. (Mandarin a plus)
