The APAC Compliance Program Manager plays an integral part in supporting Wells Fargo’s ability to meet its regulatory compliance obligations and commitments, with a specific focus on compliance program management.

Job Duties
•Act as the subject matter expert in providing guidance and advice on the implementation of compliance program requirements in the APAC region, including branches, representative offices, and legal entities in the region
•Deliver compliance program training to APAC team members with compliance coverage responsibilities
•Develop and maintain compliance program related documentation for the APAC region
•Develop strategic initiatives to manage the compliance program, including developing and presenting strategic papers and presentation materials to a wide variety of audience, e.g., compliance managers, APAC senior management, and international risk and compliance stakeholders
•Engage with stakeholders across the bank, including but not limited to senior management across the region, as well as internationally, to ensure the APAC region comprehensively meets expectations with respect to adherence with relevant compliance program requirements
•Maintain the APAC annual compliance plan
•Monitor, identify and assess compliance program needs for the APAC region as per corporate policy requirements
•Where required, develop and issue compliance program related reporting that demonstrates APAC region’s state of compliance with relevant requirements and expectations 
•The candidate is required to provide other ad-hoc support to APAC Compliance management as directed.
 
Market Skills and Certifications 
•Relevant experience, preferably 10 years + Compliance or Legal experience in a global financial institution, a bank, and/or a broker dealer. Professional legal/accounting/finance qualifications highly regarded.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Strong technology skills, experience in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Visio highly regarded.
•Ability to quickly learn business processes, including Risk Management/Compliance policies and procedures.
•High degree of initiative and strong ability to meet key responsibilities with limited direction and oversight.
•Strong relationship building, and collaboration skills, with proven experience working with senior management and/or regulators.
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with senior management and team members at all levels.
•The ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
•Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.
•Reliability, conscientiousness and ability to produce work of a high quality.
