A leading FinTech firm, specializing in cross border payment, is looking to hire a AML:/ KYC officer for its expanding team

This role would require the person to be the AML subject matter expert, assist in developing and implementation of the regulatory compliance program (including end-to-end CDD/ EDD) and transaction monitoring on money laundering or terrorist financing risk.

Your role includes analyzing custimer data, transactional activity and open source information information to determine legitimacy and potential risk exposure.

Conduct AML screening/ CDD/ EDD reviews on prospects as well as existing cutomers. Review and resolve EDD alerts; escalate findings to CEO when appropriate 

Skills & requirements

  • ACAMS, ICA or CFE certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in KYC/AML/CTF compliance experience within a Bank or relevant FinTech company
  • Understanding of offshore banking preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of AML/CFT regulatory requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion in FinTech and entrepreneurship
