Werkstudent or Working Student in Infrastructure Private Equity; 15-20 hrs a week


Amber Infrastructure (Amber) is a specialist international investment manager, focused on investment origination, asset management and fund management. This role will be focused around working with the European Origination Team to identify and transact on attractive investment opportunities.

Candidate can expect to work in a high profile and challenging environment. Specific responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Assisting the team to complete live transactions (preparation of internal documents, workstream support);
  • Preparing sector research for infrastructure sectors (energy, transport, and telecom);
  • Preparing analysis of business plans and business models of target companies (incl. due diligence and valuation);
  • Organising and co-ordinating of conferences and meetings (incl. preparation of supporting materials);
  • Managing and maintaining the CRM to ensure data is up to date and accurate


  • Top performing students in the final phase of their study, preferably focused on Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics; 
  • Previous internships in Corporate Finance/ Investment Banking, Consulting, Auditing, Controlling, Finance are an advantage but not essential;
  • Strong analytical skills, high level of motivation, and commitment; 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent command of written and spoken German and English;
  • Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office; 
  • Minimum length of working student contract: 3 months, 15-20hrs a week


First hand insight into infrastructure M&A and asset management, exposure to live transactions and ability to work with an experienced senior team in a collaborative environment. 

Competitive remuneration will be offered to the successful candidate appropriate to their level of experience (15-20 hrs a week)
