Senior Asset Manager / Development Manager, Macquarie Asset Management, Real Estate - Munich

Macquarie Asset Management Real Estate is a global investor and manager of real estate assets. The team consists of approximately 230 high performing and motivated employees across circa 20 cities globally. The business manages +US$25 billion of assets, across two distinct investment strategies - core / core plus; and opportunistic. While we always take a pragmatic approach to investing, we are currently focused on sectors that we believe are supported by structural tailwinds (multi-housing, logistics/industrial, office and data centers).
Your responsibilities will require you to:
- represent Macquarie in ongoing Developments
- coordinate external Service Providers (Property Managers, Leasing Agents, technical consultants etc.)
- Manage external Development Managers
- act as the main contact person for Joint Venture Partner
- closely collaborate with other internal departments
- liaise with our investors and maintain the relationships
- manage financial oversight based on input of external project controller
- run the assessment of the Annual Business Plan and provide recommendation to Portfolio Management
- Develop and follow up on leasing criteria for developments (including assessment of proposed leases in ongoing developments)
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience in managing Joint Venture Structures, experience in management of external Service Provider (Leasing Agents, Architects, Project Managers etc.). Additionally have 5-7 years of experience in the real estate industry (Asset Management, Development Management or comparable), a basic understanding of corporate management, you will have a basic understanding of legal, tax, technical, environmental issues and an understanding of the planning and permitting process of construction projects. You will have a basic understanding of the three financial statements and be proficient in excel, PowerPoint and Argus. About Macquarie Asset Management
