HR Manager, Successful Turnaround Fund, Munich, Germany

Our client is a successful and growing turnaround firm investing in SMEs across various sectors in Western Europe. It is now looking to hire an HR manager to lead its pan-European HR function, working closely with the management team. The position is based at the firm's headquarters in Munich.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide full generalist HR support to staff
- Recruitment and talent selection; main point of contact for external service providers
- Implement targeted Learning & Development initiatives
- Performance management and evaluation
- Manage talent and succession planning
- Monitor and review HR policies
- Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines
YOUR PROFILE: - University degree, ideally with a focus on HR / personnel
- Significant relevant experience in a generalist HR function, gained in a PE / VC fund, a Private Equity-backed business or a professional services firm
- Proven experience of developing positive working relationships
- Good knowledge of (German) labour law
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Dynamic teamplayer with a hands-on approach and a structured way of working
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with multiple stakeholders across multiple locations
- Native level German and fluent English are required
