Broad range of tasks:
The section is responsible for a broad range of tasks around monitoring and reporting of this business, with divisional interfaces to the group’s Risk Management, Reserving and Controlling divisions as well as the legal risk carrier and others.
Current challenges do also include the introduction of the standards IFRS 17 and IFRS 9, the latter of which is applicable to the larger part of their portfolio.
Content is always different:
Reporting duties are recurring, but the content is always different due to a variety of reasons and effects. Further to these duties, they shape their future by ultimately striving for the highest possible automation of their processes. A high degree of automation is required to scale up their business and, in the end, to enable the division to succeed with its ambition.
Note: Throughout this hiring process, they are also considering changes in the internal task allocation. The tasks mentioned below describe some of the team’s general tasks, and the concrete allocation of challenges to the new employer of the open position will be determined throughout the hiring process. Depending on your background and interest, there is absolute flexibility to consider your interests in the final decision and the final task allocation!
You will report to the Chief Actuary and Head of Monitoring & Reporting (Team leader)
The successful candidate will possess a Team player mentality, “it all starts with the right attitude”..
A self-motivated number cruncher with a passion for coding, interested in working in a multinational and interdisciplinary team.
Reporting is their main task, but you can easily jump on other projects in many different areas.
They do hedging and non-hedging work, all monitored which will be merged in a broad range of work – hence this will give you a possibility to work on other projects.
Financial Valuation Specialist in its role
This will go hand in hand with your qualifications, however if you tick all boxes the total compensation can exceed €100k.
Base up to €100k + €10-15k fringe benefits (pension scheme + bonus (low element) incl. holiday allowance)
