This role serves as thebridge between business demand, IT architecture, cybersecurity, SOC, audit,compliance, procurement, privacy, and implementation teams - operating withinthe company's Technology Demand Intake Process, which is closely connected toimplementation and lifecycle governance.
This individual will focus on reviewing technical concepts, stand-aloneproducts, services, and AI-enabled solutions that the company plans toimplement or integrate into its complex global enterprise technology landscape,including SaaS, PaaS, SAP, and AI-enabled platforms.
You will be responsible for assessing and governing new technology demands,services, platforms, and AI-enabled solutions through the organization'stechnology intake process. The role ensures that security, compliance, architecture, operational, andbusiness risks are identified, clearly documented, and addressed througheffective and practical mitigation measures

How you will create an impact:
CoreResponsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Technology Demand Intake and Risk Assessment process for new technologies, platforms, tools, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Assess security, compliance, operational, vendor, and architecture risks; identify mitigation strategies and recommend risk treatment decisions.
- Prepare executive-ready reports and present findings to IT leadership, governance boards, and risk committees.
- Partner with Security, IT, Architecture, Procurement, Legal, Privacy, Audit, and business stakeholders to evaluate and approve technology solutions.
- Ensure new technologies comply with security policies, controls, and integration requirements.
- Maintain risk documentation, exception records, control evidence, and governance reporting while continuously improving intake processes.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, AI, cybersecurity trends, regulatory requirements, and industry control frameworks.
Business& Stakeholder Engagement
- Translate business requirements into security and compliance recommendations that enable timely technology decisions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts through presentations, decision papers, and executive-facing materials.
- Facilitate collaboration across IT architecture, infrastructure, business teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Vendor& Project Support
- Support vendor assessments, RFPs, technical evaluations, and solution reviews.
- Contribute to cross-functional IT projects by identifying dependencies, risks, and process improvements.
- Work effectively in agile, global project environments with multiple priorities and tight timelines.
About you:
- You have an excellent academic degree, e.g., in business, information technology, engineering, data science, or a related field.
- You have at least 5-10 years of consulting or industry experience, with a notable focus on pricing, marketing, or sales software and a track record of delivering (Gen)AI-driven initiatives.
- You have hands-on experience in building and deploying enterprise-grade (Gen)AI solutions, such as LLM-based applications, RAG architectures, AI copilots, or intelligent automation workflows.
- You possess a solid understanding of (Gen)AI technologies and concepts (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, orchestration frameworks) and how to apply them in scalable, production-ready environments.
- You advise on and optimize technology landscapes (e.g., CRM, data platforms, AI architectures) for pharma, biotech, and medtech organizations, enabling scalable, compliant, and data-driven decision-making across the value chain.
- You are experienced in designing end-to-end solution architectures and data landscapes, including enabling AI readiness through robust data infrastructure, data quality, and governance frameworks, and integrating (Gen)AI into enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, CPQ, ERP).
- You have a very good understanding of vendor selection and RFP/RFI processes e.g. for (Gen)AI, PO&M, CPQ, CRM, ERP or CLM software.
- You are up to date with technological and software industry-specific trends and developments and keen on expanding you knowledge by quickly and independently digging into new (niche) software product.
- You are familiar with the IT landscape and architecture of different organization sizes and complexities and can advise our clients on how to reach next-level excellence.
- You bring experience in leading multidisciplinary teams (e.g., consultants, engineers, data scientists) and coaching junior colleagues.
- You are proficient in steering strategic projects, overseeing teams, and engaging various stakeholders effectively. You can communicate fluently in German and English.
- Complementing your strong analytical skills and eye for detail with a conscientious and dynamic attitude, you are a highly skilled communicator and presenter.
