The position

(Senior) Consultant is a mid-level member of the Investment Banking team with several years of experience in investment banking industry or within M&A advisory that supervises the work of analysts and supports senior colleagues in the execution of M&A transactions.


  • Key functions will include, but not be limited to preparing transaction documents, marketing pitches, company research and due diligence
  • Actively participate in the origination and execution of related transactions
  • Work closely with senior management across all deal functions within the organization
  • Financial Modelling including merger modelling, valuation analysis including DCF, trading and transaction comps valuation
  • Leading deal administration logistics including internal process management
  • Overseeing of analysts and interns

Key competencies

(Senior) Consultant should be exceptionally motivated, ambitious and intellectually curious; enthusiastic team player with strong analytical skills; results-focused achiever, responsible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • University degree (Master’s degree) in business administration, finance or economics with excellent grades
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in an Investment Banking/M&A advisory environment
  • Exceptional problem solving and organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills and extroverted personality
  • Native or fluent German and English language skills
  • Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Strong modelling skills in both DCF and LBO, and proven track record in M&A/Corporate Finance related transactions
