To support our M&A team in Hamburg for a period of six months we are currently offering an

Internship in Mergers & Acquisitions


Your tasks:

You will support our team with ongoing M&A mandates (e.g. of our subsidiary Oiltanking), both in the analysis of potential acquisition projects as well as in all administrative and operational tasks. In particular your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out market and competition research
  • Creating presentation documents and reports
  • Compiling and analyzing financial data and valuation models
  • Preparing presentation material and preparatory/follow-up documents for meetings
  • Participating in all facets and phases of the M&A process

Your experience & technical skills:

  • Master or Bachelor (third year bachelor) student with high interest in accounting, corporate finance, and/or entrepreneurship
  • Previous experience e.g. through accomplished internship, preferably in investment banking, M&A / corporate finance consultancy
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Very good / excellent spoken and written German and English
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
