Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major metals producer looking to hire a Commercial Director (Aluminium) to join the team in Germany.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Responsible for leading the sales and marketing strategy of aluminium alloys to relevant customers/end users
- Ensure sales team are establishing/developing customer relationships to maximise commercial success of the aluminium portfolio
- Devise and implement short and long term sales strategies to enhance overall profitability of the business as well as provide a sustainable future
- Define key targets for the sales teams and hold responsibility for the book P&L
- Reports to Managing Director
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in a commercial role (sales, trading or purchasing) focusing on aluminium alloys
- Excellent knowledge of the aluminium alloy/foundry market with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers;
- Strong understanding of the key components which help to identify optimum business opportunities for the group
- Must be fluent in both German and English
- High commercial acumen and customer-orientated sales approach
