As Jefferies works in Frankfurt with a lean set-up, the Analyst role within Equity Sales will be given almost instant client access and be expected to contribute immediately. Working in tandem with the team in Frankfurt as well as other teams in EMEA and Globally to provide the investment industry with a strong fundamental knowledge-based advisory service.

Team

The Jefferies capital markets team in Frankfurt currently consists of 5 senior front office personnel. Each member has more than 15 years of experience in the market. The team is working very closely with the European hub in London as well as the global HQ in New York.

Role

As Jefferies works in Frankfurt with a lean set-up, the Analyst role within Equity Sales will be given almost instant client access and be expected to contribute immediately. Working in tandem with the team in Frankfurt as well as other teams in EMEA and Globally to provide the investment industry with a strong fundamental knowledge-based advisory service.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are:

  • Learning about the complex structures in the capital market world and single stock parameters
  • Accompany sector, marco analyst during visits at investor clients in Germany and Austria
  • Servicing portfolio managers and buy side analysts in the German speaking region
  • Organising and accompany senior corporate managements of Global companies when roadshow in Germany and Austria.


Person Specification

The following skills and experience are required for this role:

  • Fluent in both German and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Degree educated, ideally in a financial related subject
  • Strong understanding of
  • Understanding of EU regulation
  • Strong understanding of financial markets; ideally equity markets and ability to deliver value added market colour, commentary, and trade ideas to clients.
  • Demonstrate an interest to work in a fast-paced team orientated environment.
