Job description

Based in Frankfurt, you will work in a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and become an integral part of our German Investment Banking team. As an integral part of our team, you will

  • Participate in the execution of active mandates (buy- and sell-side M&A and Debt Advisory) with strong exposure to clients
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and pitches
  • Be responsible for training and management of junior colleagues

What you will bring

  • Strong academic credentials preferably with a background in finance, law, or engineering
  • 2-5 years (Associate) / 5-9 years (Vice President) of investment banking or private equity experience at reputable institutions
  • Proven track record and excellence in M&A execution
  • Strong financial modeling, accounting and analytical skills; ability to build detailed, fully integrated financial models to construct financial projections and test their feasibility, analyze the impact of proposed transactions on capital structures, etc.
  • Commitment, rigorous, detail-oriented attitude and ability to show initiative
  • Self-starter, able to prepare documents and work on projects with limited senior guidance
  • Ability to effectively manage several concurrent projects and perform under pressure
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Team player able to collaborate with colleagues and clients globally
  • Experience in managing and training junior staff
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and standard business/financial databases
