Job Description/Responsibilities

This CTS sales team is seeking an Exchange Data, Enterprise Data Sales Specialist - to grow our Real Time to end of day market data services across EMEA. This person will work closely with the FactSet account teams they are assigned to in order to help generate new business by selling solutions from our suite of Real Time and API's product suite. This is a new function for CTS and will give you the opportunity to be a leader and subject matter expert in growing our business. Our ideal candidate will have experience selling real time market data. The selected sales leader will demonstrate an understanding of using real-time pricing, reference data and time-series content for investment decision making for buy-side and sell-side decision makers, and across all FactSet clients with enterprise data needs.

This person will work closely with the FactSet sales teams they are assigned to in order to help identify, qualify and ultimately generate incremental new sales by selling CTS enterprise data solutions from our suite of data feed products, specifically Exchange Datafeed product suite.

You will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation, closing new business, up selling existing accounts, and retaining existing book of business. In addition, the salesperson is expected to:

  • Have a strong understanding of real-time, intra-day, and end of day market data knowledge which includes having a deep knowledge of workflows and experience in dealing with different departments such as Trading, Capital Markets, Research, Compliance, Back Office, Funds Admin, OMS, Application Development
  • Extensive sales experience with a focus on financial markets specifically real-time and the ability to consistently exceed individual sales quota
  • Provide feedback to FactSet Product Strategists and Product Development to enhance and improve our products
  • Communicate FactSet industry leading solutions across Real-Time, End of Day & Time Series data
  • Leverage your client and industry relationships to identify new business needs and sales opportunities for the CTS organization
  • Diligently maintain the client- sales cycle and results data that are required to manage the pipeline of sales
  • Deliver superb presentations and present winning proposals
  • Coordinate trials, negotiate terms, and structure contracts
  • Think strategically to price and close deals
  • Help uncover new workflows within clients to monetize content
  • Utilize and work closely with group resources including Sales Engineering and Support/Implementation.
  • Collaborate with general sales team to build a CTS strategy for their respective accounts

Requirements
  • 10+ years of proven success in a sales and/or client facing role with at least 3+ focusing on reference data and or intra-day data feed sales
  • Knowledge of trading ecosystem including, compliance, risk and post trade uses cases
  • Intimate knowledge of the systems that consume real time data and support institutional trading and investing
  • Must have a deep knowledge of workflows and experience in dealing with different departments such as Trading, Capital Markets, Research, Compliance, Back Office, or Funds
  • Expert product and market knowledge specific to the back office (i.e understanding of the buy-side trading and performance workflows and industry competitors
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills
  • Ability to excel individually as well as in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel and ability to self-motivate
