Division Description

The Core Banking & Liquidity Production Team is responsible for the support of the Deutsche Bank systems db Internet, IDMS & dbCoral. The use of latest technologies such as Click-House, Kafka and APIs networking is applied in the current strategic transformation of the existing, towards the sDDA platform. In the Liquidity focus area, this will strengthen the product offering in the market and dedicate significant resources to optimize the technology portfolio.

This position is responsible for the CB IT Production team in Eschborn, supports and manages the set strategy and transformation goals. You will be the point of contact and established face for the Business, Ops and CIO organizations, support in case of serious IT incidents (major incidents), operate proactive relationship management and be responsible for communication on management level. You will play a key role in the development and consolidation process of the engineering culture and skills of our employees and interface with key stakeholders in Application Development, Infrastructure, Shared Platforms, and Senior Management.

Job Description

  • Direct and support leadership on IT incidents and IT issues within Corporate Banking & Liquidity portfolio; of communication, relationship and stakeholder management.
  • Management and staff leadership of approximately 90 employees as well as external staff of Corporate Banking & Liquidity Portfolio. Staff development and sustainable implementation of the Production Services Transformation Initiative.
  • Global stakeholder management
  • Change Governance - implementation of Major Change approvals and management of Change Approval Boards (CABs).
  • Participation in the NFR creation process
  • Continuous development and adaptation of the Service Delivery Service (Fabric, Infrastructure)

Professional and personal requirements

  • High level of leadership skills and ability to implement the IT strategy at home and abroad
  • Profound experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) and the corresponding development/quality assurance processes (control gates)
  • Profound knowledge of product technologies/automation tools RPA, workload, batch, etc.
  • Extensive experience in leading and developing DevOps teams and ability to work with global, virtual teams across countries, cultures, and time zones
  • Experience with complex IT infrastructure topics (UNIX, Database, Middleware, etc.) and professional know-how in the areas and applications Production Application Support Services, ITIL, ITSM process (in a global context)
  • Team and partnership oriented but still able to work independently and result oriented as well as high communication skills across all hierarchy levels
  • Experience with mainframe, SQL and traditional databases such as Oracle
