Product Manager/Client Portfolio Manager, Issuer Services

Overview:

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Manager/Business Manager, with strong knowledge of Issuer Services and solid product/business/transaction management experience, to join a leading international Bank.  Based in offices in Frankfurt the successful candidate will join a team responsible for delivering bespoke administrative services in support of Debt and Equity Capital Market transactions, Loans and other forms of capital raising/deployment.  This role will entail establishing strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders, ensuring continued client/business development in Germany and promoting Issuer Services products.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of P&L, including preparing forecasts, updates and analyses.
  • Identifying and developing strategies and product developments.
  • Regularly liaising/coordinating with Issuer Services business and functional partners (i.e. Product Management, Sales, Technology and Operations).
  • Managing / overseeing Issuer Services front office and execution staff (as required).
  • Proactively promoting Issuer Services products (i.e. internal training, industry seminar presentations etc.).
  • Establishing strong relationships with internal and external deal influencers (i.e. internal management/relationship management teams, third party investment banks and law firms etc.).
  • Coordinating and supporting sales activities, including managing target-market concepts and implementating detailed sales plan.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, being fully conversant with Issuer Services products.
  • Attending internal and external meetings.

 

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Fluent German language skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid experience within an Issuer Services Front office environment, banking, transactional and/or client facing experience.
  • Good understanding of the Issuer Services business, underlying products, markets / industry, clients and deal execution.          
  • Strong client management skills.
