Azure Architect (d/f/m)
Your Responsibilities and Duties
Design and deploy enterprise-scale, complex cloud infrastructure solutions
Lead technical discussions with senior customer executives that drive decisions and implementation approaches
Assess on-premise/source app/workloads and provide target migration pattern and architecture
Perform TCO calculation in target environment
Review and manage technical requirements and business functional requirements to establish new could platforms and migration patterns
Design or re-architect migration solution with Microsoft Azure to meet customers' technical, security, availability requirements of business apps/workloads
Provide implementation plans to move workloads to Azure
Provide technical guidance and lead migration team during migrations and own migrations solution
Support onsite / offshore Architect
Your Qualification and Skills
Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with minimum 3 years of experience in Azure IaaS and PaaS services
Experience in setting up of cloud technologies, including enterprise or hosting provider services using Azure PaaS and Azure IaaS Solutions
Experience in setting up Azure Foundation services (Subscription, Network, AD, Storage, Backup, monitoring and security controls)
Hands on experience with Azure DevOps for creating CI/CD pipelines (IaC execution and application build and releases)
Hands on experience in setting up and configuring Azure Migrate to assess and migrate workloads from On-premises to Azure
Hands on experience with Azure Kubernetes Services and other Serverless services (ACI, Azure Functions etc)
Experience in working with Azure Site Recovery for Disaster Recovery solution
Experience with PowerShell, ARM Templates, and Azure Automation in creating Automation account and configure runbook
Cloud Management and Optimization (sizing, costing, auto scaling, auto shutdown/Start, tagging)
Experience in working with Azure native backup, monitoring, patching solutions
Professional Certification from Microsoft - Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions
Nice to have
Experience in using cloud assessment tools like Azure Migrate, Cloudamaize or other tools
Experience in migrating any of these on premise workloads Physical, VMWare and HyperV virtual machines to azure using ASR
Setup and configure Data Migrations Assistant tool to migrate on-premise databases to Azure SQL
Knowledge of IT security risks and implement security controls
Experience in implementing Azure DevOps using CI / CD pipelines
