POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are searching for a Senior Associate / Manager Transformation Program who would join our Controlling and Finance Management team. As part of the core team, the Senior Associate / Manager Transformation Program will be responsible for the successful execution of value creation programs, which include a broad set of operational, organizational and financial initiatives, as well as M&A activities. He will work very closely with the international market teams, while at the same time also being part of centralized projects and project teams. In addition to an international focus, he will also closely collaborate with the HQ project leads and be the primary contact person for corresponding departments in his position as Senior Associate / Manager Transformation Program.

The Senior Associate / Manager Transformation Program’s responsibilities include – but will not be limited to:

  • Ensuring initiatives are properly implemented, as well as providing guidance for a fast and pragmatic execution
  • Supporting the project controlling team and PMO to ensure the success of value creation initiatives
  • Acting in a “challenge and support” role vis-Ã-vis the initiative owners, helping them to deliver their targeted results
  • Acting as an “inhouse consultant” for the organization – giving the necessary support to the business units and allowing them to focus on implementation
  • Providing transparency alongside the financial processes in order to ensure the financial impact of the initiatives with regard to all value creation parameters and keeping the results up to date
  • Providing consistency to internal meeting cycles and project progress reviews with participants from all levels, including C-Level and private equity representatives
  • Being flexible to work in an agile environment with a focus on business partnership

QUALIFICATION

  • Consultancy background on a (Junior) Associate / (Junior) Project Manager level
  • Strong motivation to take on responsibility for value creation and transformation projects
  • Pro-active mentality and used to working in dynamic processes, ideally already experienced with working in a private equity-related environment
  • Ability to constructively challenge initiative owners with respect to project progress and impact of related measures
  • Outstanding people-handling skills and ability to quickly build trusted relationships
  • Analytical abilities to ensure financial tracking and creation of suitable KPIs to illustrate the financial impact of project achievements
  • Coordination skills in order to ensure the in-time preparation of steering committee meeting documents by the initiative owners, providing quality assurance for figures and content
  • Fluent in German and English
